    All final headshot images come to you in 3 dynamic crops and 2 optimized file sizes. You may choose the collection with one final image, but you’ll be receiving image variations sized for every purpose and use. All images are downloadable directly from your online gallery.

Seth James Photography offers professional headshot sessions at shared studio locations. Availability can vary, so all online bookings are confirmed by email to make sure your preferred time is secured whenever possible.

Headshot sessions focus on head-and-shoulders to half-length portraits and are perfect for LinkedIn, professional profiles, and social platforms. If you’re looking for full-length imagery or more variety, a Personal Branding session is the best fit.

Most headshot sessions take place in the studio, though on-location natural light headshots are available upon request at no additional charge.

A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to book your session. Final image selections are professionally retouched and delivered in a private online gallery, available for download for 30 days.

Common Questions About Individual Headshots

If this is your first professional headshot session — or your first one in a long time — it’s normal to have questions. From what to wear to how long sessions take, everything is designed to be clear and stress-free. If you don’t see your question answered here, you’re always welcome to reach out directly.

  • Yes. Group discounts begin at just 2 or more individuals. Inquire on my Team Headshot Page for more detailed information.

  • A completed headshot session booking requires a 30% non-refundable deposit and a digitally signed headshot agreement. The session deposit will be credited toward the total cost of the session. If for any reason there is a cancelation or no-show this deposit becomes non-refundable. Rescheduling a headshot session requires a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to transfer the deposit.

  • Digital images are delivered in a convenient online gallery approximately 1 to 3 days from the date of final image selection. Each gallery provides a simple download option for retrieving your images.

  • Yes, I can bring a mobile studio that can be set up in your home or office — I just need about a 12 x 12-foot space to work.

  • Clients will receive a curated selection gallery via email, enabling them to review their images and pick the ones that best align with their objectives. The chosen images will be professionally retouched and delivered in a final gallery for easy download.

  • Yes. Event rates are $175/hr with a 1 hour minimum.

  • White and grey are the most commonly used and most popular background options but I offer a variety of additional options.
